These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of aurochat. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
aurochat allows users to create AI assistants, add knowledge sources, test assistants, embed website widgets, collect leads, review conversations, and manage subscriptions.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use aurochat to upload illegal content, infringe intellectual property rights, distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, abuse rate limits, reverse engineer the service, misrepresent AI outputs as guaranteed professional advice, or violate applicable laws.
4. Knowledge sources
You are responsible for the content you upload, paste, or submit as a URL. You must have the necessary rights to use that content with aurochat.
5. AI outputs
AI-generated responses may be incomplete, incorrect, or unsuitable for some uses. You are responsible for reviewing assistant behavior, maintaining your knowledge base, and deciding how to use AI outputs. aurochat does not guarantee that every answer will be accurate or complete.
6. No professional advice
aurochat is not intended to provide legal, medical, financial, or other regulated professional advice unless you independently configure, review, and supervise your use in compliance with applicable requirements.
7. Widget use
You may embed the widget only on domains you control or are authorized to use. aurochat may block unauthorized domains, abusive traffic, or usage that violates these Terms.
8. Plans and billing
aurochat offers Free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Subscription prices, limits, and features are shown on the pricing page. Annual subscriptions are billed annually, but usage quotas reset monthly.
9. Pro Coming soon
Pro features marked Coming soon are not available for purchase or active use in the MVP. Displayed Coming soon features are roadmap previews and may change before release.
10. Cancellation
You may manage or cancel paid subscriptions through the billing portal when available. Cancellation does not automatically issue a refund unless required by law or explicitly stated.
11. Data deletion
You may delete your account from the dashboard. Deletion is permanent and may remove documents, embeddings, conversations, leads, workspace data, and related records.
12. Service availability
We aim to provide a reliable service, but aurochat may be interrupted due to maintenance, third-party provider issues, infrastructure failures, or other events.
13. Third-party services
aurochat depends on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, AI processing, billing, email, database, and storage. We are not responsible for third-party service failures outside our control.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, aurochat is provided “as is” and “as available.” We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
15. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
